The 18th Annual Kids’ Fishing Day for youths ages 4-11 years old was a hit!

The event took place in the beautiful Jemez Mountains at the Seven Springs Fish Hatchery and was hosted by New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, Santa Fe National Forest U.S. Fish and Wild Life Service, New Mexico Trout and Jemez Valley Businesses. The Kids were able to take part in many hands-on activities to learn about our state fish, fly tying, casting, fishing and creative fish art. Booths were setup around the hatchery to allow the kids to participate in the event.
